Music videos follow many conventions, quick cuts and many camera angles. Also switching scenes quickly to add effect. Grime uses conventions such as dark scenes, sportswear, and is multi cultured. We used these conventions and added our own.

Evaluation - Question 3
All the way through our Media project we were continuously asking for feedback from our target audience to constantly improve on things we were not completely sure about. Also we did this by using our video camera and taking it around school and showing them our 3 media products and asking them questions and allowing to express their opinions and we would this to aid our editing.
We would ask specific questions about what they thought about the props, clothing, the setting and the initial song we chose to make a video on. Also as well just asking them about what they thought of our work, we asked them questions about what they thought of Grime in general. We would ask them what kind of clothes would you expect to see within a Grime video. Also what is common within these videos. We used this feedback to give us ideas on our own video.

Feedback on Video
We showed our video to teachers and classmates, and they gave a number of criticisms of what they did not like.
1) The scene in which there was the artist wearing a Scream mask, was felt to be irrelevant to the video and acted to comedic and ruined the 'serious' theme towards the video.
2) The enigma code at the beginning of showing parts of the artists body and London before seeing his face was ruined because we made a mistake by showing the artists face before he had started rapping, when the idea was to let the song build up to the first line and that would be where the artist would be first scene.
3) Another scene that our teachers especially did not like was the punchbag scene after the fight. From feedback, we found that it would be best to put the punchbag scene before the fight, so that it was a build up to the fight, instead of it coming afterwards.
4) The scene where the camera focuses on the studio producer turning down the dials, was originally placed on the last chorus, however, many told us that it would be better to put that scene right towards the end as it would signal the end of the song.
